Shopping King of Prussia Mall

King of Prussia Mall is Pennsylvania's premier retail destination and one of the largest shopping centers in the United States by retail space. Located 20 miles northwest of Center City Philadelphia in Montgomery County, the mall draws shoppers from across the Delaware Valley and beyond with its unmatched combination of luxury brands, national retailers, and dining options.

The complex comprises two distinct buildings — The Plaza and The Court — connected by an interior walkway. The Court houses the bulk of mid-range and fast fashion retailers, while The Plaza leans heavily into luxury with anchors like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale's alongside flagship boutiques from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., and Burberry.

The Plaza vs. The Court

First-time visitors often underestimate the scale. Plan your visit by building: The Plaza is your destination for luxury and high-end department stores, while The Court is where you'll find more accessible national brands, the food court, and entertainment options. A complete walkthrough of both buildings takes the better part of a day.

💡 Local Tip

Weekday mornings are the calmest times to shop — parking is plentiful, stores are uncrowded, and you can move freely through both buildings. Weekend afternoons during holiday season are extremely congested.

Getting There from Philadelphia

Driving is the most practical option. Take I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to the Valley Forge exit, then Route 202 South to the mall. The drive from Center City is typically 25–35 minutes outside of rush hour. All parking is free in the surrounding surface lots and attached garages.

🚌 Transit Option

SEPTA Bus Route 125 runs from 69th Street Transportation Center (end of the Market-Frankford Line) directly to King of Prussia. The ride takes about 35 minutes and drops off near the mall entrance. A solid option if you want to skip the drive.
